This is just the kind of music that makes the darkness of 4am around me suddenly mystify into some sort of dreamland... I love songs that make their emphasis mainly on the piano.
It's almost a shame that the sun has to come up, because I'm more used to darkness. I don't dislike sunlight, in fact, it's better, it's just that I'm the kind of person who sleeps late and wakes up early, and also whenever it's a hot day, I feel like I'm burning if I stand in the sun. So I like night. not perpetual night, but night. But sunrises are amazing. I'm lucky to have a balcony facing east that I can view he sunrise from every morning.
Crit! I've been slacking for a while, so yeah.
nice smooth start, but slightly distorted with echos, which could be fixed. The piano comes in, and the low notes make the texture "delicious". The melody overall is constantly changing, note taken, and a sudden key change, or 2, is an interesting addition, though once again, people normally change the key just once near the end. But when you get to the end, the texture softens, until eventually ending the song, giving it an average style climax, which is okay, but a song's climax (or chorus) is what a listener will remember most.
Overall, pretty good!

I got the idea to do multiple pitch, or key changes, from phantom of the opera, but I decided to do two and stretch them out. I was going to go go for a bigger climax, but favored a more chill out feeling for the end. And I get ya on the sun thing, though I myself am a day person, I absolutely love moonlit nights when the stars swim in the cool desert sky. Oh bitter nostalgia. Thanks for the crit, I'll be sure to apply the climax to my future works! =)
Sounds awesome, love the piano stuff. I really like the how the last half of the song sounds too. Only thing I noticed was once that kicks in at the halfway point... hmm idk. The parts you choose for it sound really good but personally I think the beat of the drum or whatever it is and the other stuff don't blend perfectly with the piano. Maybe they are just a bit to loud over the piano? Idk The instruments and the style of it sound good but the particular beat seems sort of... not perfect in my opinion, if that makes sense?
It sounds fine in the original, theres just something about the particular piano line mixed with it that doesn't blend as well.
Never the less, its sounds pretty sweet.
