A little less innocent and vulnerable like the pink and the purple. and I hope you can tell the hand is the right way, the fishnets kinda covered it up but he's holding his hand out like he just shot up :P Oh Devon...... what am I going to do with you....

oh wow, the blue hair really brings out a different part of him! he looks a bit more mature and less innocent and sweet, while still having that devon charm. the main reason hush is icy blue is because of the coldness associated with that color and the idea of freezing people out, and so seeing devon matching kind of adds that distance to him as well which I think works for something like this. the fact that you added subtle blue shading to his darker markings is really stunning and brings the whole thing together beautifully. I absolutely adore his face here, his somber yet peaceful expression is perfect for the mood you were going for, and I love the shape and positioning of his ears. so doberman-y! aside from the color, the way you drew his hair is very fluid and falls so naturally - the hair you've been doing in your recent art is quite excellent! his outfit is fab too, those little accessories and knee band-aids! and the blue heart on his hip is just... awww. *_* that hint of hush's hand reaching out to him and how they share the blue aura around them, just, so fitting.

as for the significance of this picture, I will be going into detail about it in my next message (got a big thing to send tomorrow), since I already planned to reply to what you had said about him regarding that. for now I will say the lyrics you've quoted for this are wonderfully fitting, for this picture and for them <3

I have always agreed about the icy look to Hush making him feel distant, not quite there, just not quite so empathetic and caring like the warm colors of Devon's hair and general brown dobie design. I've decided to make him more brownish instead of just black, like you noticed lately. The blue does bring out another side of him, but I'll be honest it's one I do like. It shows he has a darker side - a side not many people see. Only those truly close to Devon, and really barely even them. Neema's the only other one that's seen it besides Hush. Devon's a bad little boy he just acts like he isn't XD

every time I look through your gallery, i get totally inspired to dig out my markers and try to do some traditional art again. not many people seem to upload traditional stuff (in comparison to years past) so seeing yours is like a breath of fresh air.
I love his hair blue, btw. he's got such nice neutral colored fur that just about any accent color looks bomb diggity on him~
