okay um so way is castiel wings black :O i have watched a grand total of 20 maybe Supernaturals all from season one and two but I do love there concept work.. and i always wanted to see the angels.. but i kept falling asleep. D: as i tired to watch this show running on 4 hours of sleep.

The angels have never actually manifested their wings in the series. o:
The best you see are large black shadows in the shapes of wings of living angels sometimes,
or, when an angel dies, black burn marks on the ground in the shape of their wings.
Because of this, I think a lot of people (including myself) just draw all of the angels with black wings since there's no way to really know.
(Though, in a couple of promos, if you're willing to search for them, Castiel is shown with dark wings. So you never know, they might actually be black. ;'3)
