You love doing romantic moody night scenes and I love seeing the result of your love for doing them!

Maybe it's just me, but in addition to whatever other genuine feelings that may be at play here, I still get the feeling that on some, perhaps instinctive level Tahn still considers his date to be a pretty possession of his, something to occasionally bring out of his "hoard" and admire, maybe even show off and make all of the other dragons jealous. It's probably his body language, the way he has her hanging on his arm, the casual "oh, what is this thing I have with me?" stance, the knowing smirk under his warm smile, the way his tail is possessively wrapped around her...

You can dress up a dragon and find that they have genuine affection for you, but they are still dragons at heart.

But like I said, maybe it's just me.

I love it when people notice the subtle little details like that. I always wonder if I'm the only person who sees it because I was the one who drew it, so it makes me very pleased when someone else sees it too :)
