I had to retopo it with a different program which did make it a thousand times easier. I still have to go back and fix a few things, but I worked on this all day today just on the retopo alone, so it can wait. :P
This guy is pretty tedious to work with and there are some things I will NEVER do again, lol, but it should be worth it in the long run. :3

Model whatever you want in Zbrush. You have to watch videos and the tutorials on the main website to give you an idea of the workflow from start to finish. Start big, end small.
I used TopoGun to retopologize it.
Export as Obj.
Unwrapped in 3ds Max (you can use Maya).
Export into TopoGun again and bake your normals.
Use quads mostly except when triangles work BEST (do not get lazy). Practice makes perfect just like anything else.
Hope that helps.

Looks good! I hope you live in the states if your goal is getting a job in 3D. I graduated top of my class in 3D modeling and animation and couldnt get a job anywhere because i live in Canada and everyone who has a computer in their basement tries to get into the industry.
its nice seeing people actually spending time learning topology and not just sculpting. Anyone can sculpt. Its unwrapping, rigging, and retopping thats the hard stuff. Good job!

Its all good, i did manage to get a job in 3D modeling as a lead 3D modeler in a small studio but didnt get paid enough to live while working there. The layoffs after every project really sucked too. Also, the owner of Bioware is my uncle so i figured for sure i could get a job there but yeeeeah still not even the case.
I was told by everywhere i applied for that i needed real world experience before they would hire me. Once i got that experience and worked with designers for a while i just figured it wasnt for me, so it all worked out for the best. Other ther than the student loan i took out :p
good luck though! From what i see your off to a good start!

I can't agree with that. Sculpting is an artistic process.
While UVs and retopo is purely technical aspect. You can learn how to do that easily. You can just read it in a book or a tutorial (or just by look at model wireframes). Of course you get better and faster with practice.
For sculpting - nah. You gotta work hard and a lot to get it to the serious level. Just like art.
