Simple circle brush in Photoshop and I just added a paper texture on top of that :3

Yes! That's why I was doing so many of them, such great quick practice and I could offer them for a much lower price then my more refined stuff :D

Photoshop isn't very good at blending, that's why I started to use SAI (the blending in SAI is simply delicious). I adjusted the brush opacity a lot in PS :/ and had everything set to use pen pressure. The smudge tool in PS really leaves a lot to be desired.

So I've been playing around with SAI but I keep running into an issue. Why is it that when I paint one color on a normal layer with the brush tool, I can't paint overtop that color with a different color on the same layer using the brush tool? It doesnt make any sense to me....maybe I'm so used to Photoshop's ability to let me do whatever I want on one layer XD
