The Power Of The Bunny
Jan 7th,
" It was a cold night. We finally got a snowstorm after days of random heavy rain and freezing winds. I invited Lisa over to hang out with me and to play some video games, but ended having her sleep over since I didn't want her to go out in the snow. She would have missed the bus anyway.
" This was her first time sleeping over so I didn't know how to react to her sleeping in the same bed as me. She said that she did not mind and that she wasn't going to try anything while I was asleep. I kind of wanted to snuggle with her, just to keep each other warm during the snowstorm. In some ways, I was trying to 'egg' her on. We were just friends after all, but I am a snuggly kind of person. The hardest part about this was that I needed something to hug during the night and I didn't want to hug my stuff animal while I slept. Lisa would make fun of me now and then about a mid-twenties adult snuggling with a stuff animal, so I put my bunny away in the corner, giving off the appearance that it was just to fill 'empty space'.
" It was about thirty minutes in the night and we were still wide awake, fighting over the blankets and the pillows, trying to keep warm. I still 'hinted' about snuggling through my body language, but she didn't get the message. After a while, I finally won the battle over most of the blanket and was just about to try to get some shut-eye until I felt her poking my head. I turned around and she just dangled my stuff bunny in front of me, asking if she could snuggle with it. I reminded her about her comments directed towards my snuff animals and my age, but she said that I could have the blankets if she slept with the bunny...
" Guess which one I chose... "

May I ask if these are true stories? I only recently started watching you, though I favourited one of your touching works in the past and a more recent submission proved too much to ignore any longer. It's a wonderful idea, a wonderful image, a wonderful, heartfelt description. And I've felt this same dilemma myself, I'm 30 years old, I happily sleep cuddled with a plushie and can't sleep without one. When I recently stayed with a friend and stayed in the same bed, for various reasons I wasn't able to have a plushie, I couldn't cuddle him all night, so had to resort to cuddling a pillow the rest of the time :)
well no, I just know from what you;ve told me. Pictures that you've shown me that you've said were based on something that happened to friends, or something you were feeling, and some of the Dear L's that are just fiction... but the ones you haven't told me about I wouldn't know... I'm not psychic and I don't have any secret cameras on you
