Many people asked me for commissions, but i'm sadly not able to open regular slots (because i just don't have the time).
So I found another solution:
Once a month I will hold an auction here on FA.
Everybody who wants a commission from me finally has the chance to get one. And that on a regular basis!
Also I can handle the timeframe better :)
So let's give this a try!
What will you get?
- One High-Resolution and a Web-Version picture with anything you want me to draw. (Max.2 Characters) in the style of the examples above.
- I do all species and genders, also M/M, F/F or F/M
- It can be ADULT, CLEAN, cute or creepy - but no extrem fetishes (except SM related stuff) If you want to know if YOUR fetish is ok, just ask ;D
Rules
- Payment in USD via Paypal only
- Payment must be send 24h after the auction ended
- Starting bid: 50$
- Comment with your bid below on the last bid made
- To avoid last minute bid sniping: Each bid incrases the deadline for 5 minutes after the auction ended

to be honest an auction is actually more exclusive in my opinion, simply for the fact that people are too competitive and some have just way too much money and just wanna win.
Thats why auctions usually go nuts and prices skyrocket.
But in the end its more power to you and its up to you how you wanna work and I won't hate you for that or start drama over it.
I would have rather signed up for a waitinglist thats longer and be actually able to commission you then this but in the end all I can give is my 2 cents and meh.
Wish the peoples that can actually afford auctions the best of luck :3

Yeah...i was worrying about that. But the fact is, that i will hardly open any commissions or waiting-lists ever in the near future (and beyond) - some people are waiting for that since a few years :/ I just don't have the time to manage them and some of my friends want a slot and then i would be in a moral dilemma to give one to them, or to strangers. So i only do it this way to have ONE person that really wants a commission, i can fully concentrate on and i don't have to deside who it is.
I hoped that this competitive behavior would be not SO big when i tell right away that there will be an auction once a month.

yeah in the end I can understand you, just wanted to express it that it eliminates a lot of people cause they won't be able to afford it auctions and on my personal note I just see far too many artist just go that route lately that they just go with auctions since it maximises profit while you can decide how much you actually wanna work on stuff.

I wasn't being seriously serious. I was just using a general term for spending alot of money that not everyone has. I just don't believe just because someone has the most cash, that it means they are the ones that Want it the MOST, or deserve it the most. You just can't judge something like that, and she clearly stated she wanted a way for the people who love her artwork, to get a chance to eventually get one. Auctions are good and fun some times, but not for everyone all the time, who have a strict limit on how much they can afford to spend or even save in advance on something on such an unpredictable price outcome.

Some of them even trolling the other low money bidders, as they increasing the price from 15$ to 100$ in the first step - just because they can.
I know it's hard to tell the value of the art but it would be nice to give more people some chance instead of this "most money gets the slot" method. I also would like to commission Rotarr (and a lot of others) sometimes, but my money is only would be enough to get an autograph...

Ya I've seen it alot too, thats why I said "mountains of cash" Lol as a general term but I had that image in my head. Not that its started here, but just remembering it alot of places elsewhere that it had.
But ya thats why I suggested what I did, it'd still be whatever the artist wants for it, but anyone could end up getting it in a raffle as long as they agree to the price.

When art is subjective, the phrase "mountains of cash" or "expensive" varies.
I've paid plenty for a piece that was completely fucked up beyond repair, and got blacklisted by the artist. And then I have paid small for something that was well worth fourteen times the money. Though I'll agree mountains of cash is a completely unreal comparison, its more so paying a pretty penny when the value of the penny is met with quality that undermines its value.
