I do a lot of work for my local animal sanctuary, Lone Star! They are a 100% no-kill shelter. Even dogs that are nippy, cats that are old, and disabled animals are not euthanized. They are given love and vet care until they meet their natural end. They have a lifetime commitment to their animals as well, meaning that if you adopt an animal from them and something unforeseen happens... they will take that animal back. Always. Lone Star also has a pretty good education where they go to schools to talk with kids about proper pet ownership, spay/neuter programs, and general animal care.

Needless to say, this is not a cheap organization to run. Lone star runs almost entirely on donations, fundraisers, and the rabid dedication of their volunteers.

Recently, Lone Star asked me if Border Sparky could be their official mascot. I've worn Border Sparky to most of their events etc and she's always been a HUGE hit! But... Sparky is my character and while I was flattered by the idea of her being the Lone Star mascot... she's my personal character and I'd rather keep her that way.

To that end... Meet Potluck! Potluck is a pit/blue heeler/shepherd/??? mix that I designed for Lone Star as an alternative mascot. n.n I was originally going to make him (her? Potluck is genderless at the moment) myself, but I just plain do NOT have the time. I'm so busy lately that I'm having to set the alarm on my phone to remind me to eat! @.@ But what I lack in free time, I make up for with expendable income. XD To that end, I am looking for a suit maker that could make Potluck for me. Anyone know of anyone? @.@;;;
