The feeling when you finally come up with a name for a two years old character.
Name: Lance
Age: 21~23
Species:Blacktail fox (made up species by me)
Likes: Dancing, things happening, friends, having fun, easy life, he's also a fan of the three DJ girls: Sinni, Mira & Aura.
Dislikes: Being citizised or teased, too complicated things.
Personality: Lance is ESTP (extrovert, sensing, thinking, percieving) - he's outgoing an easy to talk to, he's quite laid back but can get excited about things. He sometimes gets angry fits when people start making things too difficult or judge him for things he'd rather not talk about.
He's almost always seen wearing his favourite pants, he just can't show himself without them! And of course shirtless regardless of the weather.

Nope, I don't have templates and I personally think it's not possible to create a completely new character just with templates, cause shapes of the body are very important to a character, not only colours and basic species traits, every single person has their own unique body.
I know ajna had some bases for feline & canine characters some time ago tho, might be worth asking her where she's keeping them thesedays.

There's not really any set places, I just put stuff where it feels right - sometimes I just build a ref so it has everything (Example of a messy ref), doesn't have to be visually amazing always - as long as it has everything. I pose characters depending on what are their most important part. If they have details in their hands, show one of their hands properly, if their hands are different - show both at the same time in same angle. If the character is likely to run naked, draw them naked - if they're going to always hide themselves in clothes, draw their favorite clothes on, so and so on x)
