About the only thing I can think of off the top of my head is that shading can really bring a picture out. :3 I see that you've done a good bit here, but don't be afraid to go darker, or add it to more areas.
Graphite's one of my favorite mediums, and you'd be surprised how much you can do with it at times. ^^
