Because i really liked the modern day meets fantasy idea very much ^^
As Rob was exploring the mysterious healing pond, he suddenly heard a sound of tiny voices behind him, he turned around quickly facing the direction of the sound, aiming his MK23 SOCOM pistol, his finger on the trigger and was ready for anything. "Who's there?" he said low and looked through the iron sights as his eyes shifted from left to right trying to find out who made that sound. Being in an unknown and uncharted world he had no idea what he could be encountering. Suddenly, a small anthropomorphic blue canine like creature with wings like a butterfly came out of the bushes and slowly approached him. The wolf's eyes widened as he saw this strange thing. "What in the...?" he muttered as he saw it. It flapped its wings and carefully approached him. His gun was aimed at it all the times, until it came so close he stopped following it with his gun. The creature carefully and gently landed on the supressor attached to the muzzle of the deadly tool in his hands. With wide open eyes the creature looked into the wolf's blue sapphire eyes. Rob slowly straightened his finger from the trigger and put the safety on. "What are you?" he said low to the creature. It only tilted its' head a bit to the sides and slowly began to crawl closer towards him.
It's like it's fascination with him was just the like he had with it!
Guess who the Faery is! :D

Now... that is indeed a meeting our good Rob wont forget so fast! ^.^
I always hoped so much to see a sequel to your first "reality meets fantasy"-pic and i was very happy as i heared you're working on it. And look what happened! Another magneficant and fascinating peace of art has born!
I think here we have another good example of how well you can draw lightning as a traditional artist! I've seen much worse digital art-lighting that looked kinda... meh... i can't find words for it... -.-
The scenary is so adorable and both the fairy and Rob looks so cute. The fairy as te nosy innocent fantasy-being who would never know of what that thing is, she's sitting on. And Rob on the other hand with his almost childish fascinated and unbelieving expression in his face. The widened eyes, the aligned ears and the open mouth is something that everyone of us would do in such a situation.

I'll make repeat what I just said, I do not like talking about my personal life, but ended up doing it, I'm exposing myself here, and who is that who will want to open their secrets of his personal life for everyone here ? If I'm doing this is because I'm really needing to vent, is a healthy way of trying to relieve himself of feelings!
