This is an example of a technique I wanted to try using masking fluid to block out the negative space of the paper, then I place several layers of watercolor in the open area of the paper to create this form. That's how the colors were blended right up to the edges. Thin piece of yellow paper was glued in the corner to represent the sun.

I'm posting this just to show all the fun things you can do with watercolors and to remind myself to try this technique more often!
