The candy's effect kicked in quickly. To Cale's disappointment, Sammy started to swell, his pants starting to rip. The human started to panic, doubly so when his developing wings ripped through the back of his shirt and his tail through the back of his pants. He jumped up from the couch and started to head for the door. Cale did his best to hold the transforming human back, looking with interest as horns started to appear on the boy's forehead.
