This is why my "Thing A Day" project had to stop...working pretty much 8 hours on site then 3 hours in the office each day, getting home, cooking, eating, sorting out the two cats and on Wednesday, a quick trip to the minor injuries unit have left pretty much no drawing time!!! So I've been working on this which captures the mood pretty well. We're all like zombies at the moment.

For those who don't know, I currently work as a Geoenvironmental/Geotechnical Engineer, visiting sites all over Yorkshire to do all sorts of stuff below ground. The thing I'm holding is a crude attempt at a levelling staff, I steal it for showing how deep holes are. Not sure what kind of digger it is. Site will remain a mystery, they all look the same anyway ;)

Hope to do some more doodling over the weekend.
