I think the overall melody is good; It certainly sounds like a march. My only complaint is that it sounds kind of shallow. If you're trying to invoke the image of a war I think there should be a bit more going on. Maybe by adding a second set of strings to accompany the leads and harmonize. I think the rhythm is perfect for the mood. Overall pretty good. You've got something here.

The program is mostly a writing program. This sadly isn't a recording of the piece, it's just a computerized version from the writing program. As a result, the sounds aren't balanced very well. If this piece were performed, there would definitely be more strings. There is already a 1st and second violin parts, a viola part, a cello part, and a bass part. The writing program gives sounds as if only a few or a single string were playing it. And thank you for the comment! :3
