In the Martian Anthro Mice category, this is my alter-ego named Sunshine. Like quite a few girls whose favorite character is Throttle, she is his love interest. This is the first picture that I ever did of her. I toiled and toiled and toiled over what she was going to look like, and finally one night [my best creativity comes when night falls *shrugs* go figure] I sketched out this pic.
Then I took it to school the next day and in my 8th hour study hall I stole my friend's pencil colors and starting working on it. But then like I always am forced into, my friends made me copy it so they could color it in too [my friend Angie's version turned out rather nice, I like her color choices a lot!] Anyway...
After a few minutes, this picture is the result. I know the background leaves something to be desired, but I like it anyway^^
The story between her and Throttle is that they were lovers as teens/young adults, and then the infamous Plutarkian/Martian war started. Throttle left to fight on the front line (as did most of Sunshine's family) while she stayed behind with her mother, Horizon, learning how to be a Medic (which is her mother's profession).
Throttle ends up leaving Mars (that�s a story all in itself), and all communication between he and Sunshine is lost. She has no idea weather he�s alive or dead, and Sunshine comes to find out that she�s pregnant with Throttle�s child.
This is where this picture comes in. I think the time frame for her pregnancy is a couple of weeks to possibly a month, and she hears a rumor that Throttle is on the planet, Earth. Due to the dangers that the war has raised, she is not able to travel to Earth to see if the rumors are in fact, true. So she waits, longing for her one true love to return home.
