I'm going to suggest that the setting and lighting don't show off the model very well. In the top and bottom pictures its fairly dark and hard to see detail. The slight blue of the background is not contrasted with the blue of the skin color and its a good idea to have your model stand out more. If you're using these as portfolio snapshots I'd try rendering out some distance fog/blur to make it more professional looking.
