PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION BECAUSE I SECRETLY LOVE YOU.
This is an entry in a competition! The voting is now in its final stages and it's getting very very close, and I dearly need some help staying in the top 20!

So there was this competition being run over on Facebook by one of the Doctor Who fanpages, where the purpose of the competition was to come up with a new design for the Doctor. Yes, that Doctor. You know the one.
But let me cut to the chase! The voting stage of the competition has started now and the winner will be picked from the top 20 most liked entries. I, the reclusive hermit that I am, don't have half as many friends on Facebook as my competition and so I'm at a bit of a disadvantage, so it’d be truly fantastic if you guys could help me get in to that top 20!

Anyway! How about actually saying something about the artwork?
Drawn and painted by way of the loyal old Wacom. Among other quirks of personality and crimes of fashion, my take on Twelve for this competition just can't not touch -- even if it's a strange nebula-dwelling feeler-face space-bird. I have dubbed it the 'Atroxian Manta-Bird'. It feeds on nebula gasses :D Oddly enough, I never intended for his hair to come out that colour -- the opposite, in fact -- it just sort of happened!
Oh! Obviously, the art is by me, of course :D It has nebulas and FEELER-FACE SPACE-BIRDS. Also a TARDIS. EVERYTHING IS BETTER WHEN IT HAS A TARDIS.
BUT OH MY GOD TARI WHY HAVE YOU POSTED NO ART AT ALL SINCE DECEMBER OMG WE THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD OR SOMETHING?
Actually the short answer is I'm still moving very slowly through December stuff, but I'm getting to it and et cetera. Thanks for being patient so far anyone who is waiting for me to not be slow and stuff <3

I love that you went more whimsey with the design! I love the "silly" and crazy clothing the doctor wears (as long as it doesn't go into crazy questionmark land) and you captured the look nicely. It just proves that as fans we like the silly clothes!!! (There was a whole interview with Moffat recently where he was saying he thought the Doctor's look was "too silly" and I was like UHM NOOOO!) This came out amazing, I love the way you did the stars and the TARDIS and the creature and the COLORS! Also DAT POSE and the neat Sonic Screwdriver. Very nice job. :D:D:D:D
