on the western end of the old continent,
I met a plant at end of its life.
I gathered it's offsprings grain by grain,
with uncertain hopes and fragile promises,
so that someday on the world's eastern end,
where the morning ray reaches first,
and calmly lits the rolling hills,
on soil its progenies shall be lain,
thus the cycle may start anew.
