I created him some time during early season 2, so the episode "Sleepless in Ponyville" probably not even a notion in someones head.
He is the Dream Guardian. He fights nighmares for a living. When ever someone writes about dreams, I get a little self indulgent.
Of course Luna seems to be taking over that role now, but that doesn't stop me. I think they can coexist.
