There's a story behind this one.
So back in highschool health class we were learning about different kind of 'healths' and the section on spiritual health was hilariously vague. To sum up, the text pretty much said: Nobody knows what spiritual health is but it exists and it's important.
This struck me as pretty fucking goofy. I didn't necessarily reject the idea of there being a spiritual health, but it annoyed me that they wouldn't even attempt to explore it.
Years and years later I was reading a Livejournal written by an acquaintance who'd been dealing with the sudden and abrupt death of her brother. She was describing her struggles, how her life had changed drastically and how she wished she could still be in love with the world like she used to be.
I realized that she was describing spiritual health--the feeling of being in love with the universe, and in some small part, feeling that the universe loves you back. No matter how it manifests, what creed or spiritual path one takes, that's what it comes back to, some kind of meaningfulness in the grand scheme of things.
Of all the ways to be in love I feel this one to be the most important, the most personal, the most ethereal, the most rewarding. The nature of the universe is a projection of how we choose to feel about it. In reality it is our deepest relationship with ourselves.

My mother tends to explain to me that she has found happiness in just the simple fact of being alive. That she has reached the point in her life in which the sheer amazement of opening your eyes to a brand new day gives her the most wonderful feeling of joy. I believe she might've gotten all figured out now, being in love with the sheer fact we exist.
I believe the great philosopher Blind Lemon Yankovic said it best:
"If you want to be distracted from your wretched, meaningless existance, why not turn on the TV?"
http://youtu.be/9jZ3v7rrBl4
Also, his great grandson, the ever-knowledagable Alfred Matthew Yankovic followed up with:
"When the answers to life's questions elude you, there's only one thing to do: Watch TV!"

So, TV solves everything!

Sometime when I'm feeling disconnected from almost everything, going outside and looking at any part of nature, just enjoying the air and the breeze, and noticing the enormous world of life around me, helps restore my inner peace in immeasurable ways. Being in love with nature and the universe is a wonderful love <3
It´s a interesting viewpoint. Personaly I think that feeling rather than to be in love, it is to feel that we´re part of the immeasurable unity of the universe and feel aware and part of each of the everything in it, That is for me "to be in love" with he universe.
Anyways, you capture perfecttly that feeling. Thank you for your talent X3.

this is cool.
but anyhow, spiritual healing shon;t just involve gods and such of the likes. It could also come from the comfort of the souls around you, which are your family and friends.
An calmness of the mind, including the will to live can really help people people heal faster.

I needed this at the particular time that I found it.... that being just now. I'm really struggling with some mental health stuff prompted by a bunch of sudden life changes and I'm in this state where sometimes I'm totally in love with the universe, and others I just want to be done with it. You've helped me lean closer to the side I really want to be on, the side where I'm a conspiracy of the total universe to be this particular perspective in this embodiment for a little while, where I can love that totality in a way it can't ever experience without me. Or something like that.
