First Kiss

Both the first kiss between them, but also the first kiss I've ever drawn.

Technically, there are a few things wrong with this picture. Most notably that Pete seems to be eating Cherry's nose, and, again the size of his muzzle.

But there's one thing that's /just/ right, and that's the atmosphere, the emotion in the picture. That makes this one of my favorite drawings to date.
You can also see one of the reasons I invented Cherry. Can you imagine being hugged by those warm and cozy wings? Almost makes me wish she existed for real.

Done sept '06. All on tablet. This was a technical challenge for me, to get away from those standard faces looking completely, or slightly to one side, and draw some action instead. (Pun not intended) It may not be perfect, but I'm still very pleased with it, even technically.
