Haha no it hasn't been cut off. I had a pilonidal cyst and I couldn't stand the pain anymore. It started last Friday when I woke up with a sore tailbone and just thought I slept wrong. Saturday, my tailbone hurt a little more but it was manageable. Sunday it began to snowball, my tailbone was red and swollen and then Monday night at work I couldn't take it. After work I went to the ER and had it incised and drained. Whew it was a lot of pus!

It felt so much better after it was drained and packed. I have a bandage and my fiance said it looks like I had my tail cut off hence this picture. Haha

Scheduled an appointment with a surgeon for next Friday. Apparently the only way to fully get rid of the cyst is the surgically remove it from my tailbone. EEK!!
