My English shepherd, Brody, is possibly the best dog on the planet, but he's definitely not the easiest to draw! He's much floofier than I managed to depict in this drawing; I didn't include the tufts of fur between his toes (my husband and I call Brody's paws his "fuzzy slippers") or the long hair -- known as "feathers" -- on the backs of his legs because it was visually distracting, but I still think the end result turned out cute in a simple sort of way.
