Wow!

I never knew they flowered (though since we eat the fruit of the plant, I guess I should have expected some type of flowering).

Can't wait to see more info on this (great photo).

so far from what I've gathered, the banana doesn't seed, so it can't reproduce, so the tree uses the flower for that purpose,
