I love sharks; I used to be paid to dive in a shark cage when I worked as an Instructor in Sea World's Sharks Deep Dive program. I also love ''Jaws'' (the movie, that is -- for once in my life, I prefer the film adaptation over the original novel); I even named my English shepherd ''Brody.''
Given ''Bruce's'' role as villain in Jaws and its grisly end, this may seem a little odd. =)
...especially when you take a look at my latest deviation. I modeled this 1.5" charm after an enormous recreation of Jaws as seen at Universal Studios. I didn't bloody it up quite as much as the full-size sculpture and I've yet to figure out a decent way to get the "rope" to stay looped into Jaws' jaws, but... hey, even if this is the final version, it kept me amused for a few minutes, and that's what matters. =) An admittedly unusual (and poorly-photographed) homage to a fascinating creature, but an homage nonetheless.
Materials: Sculpey, acrylic paints, Mod Podge, Dresden gloss glaze, and a random piece of cord.
