Rava is the elder of the family. He is the oldest among them, possibly the wisest, and one of certainly few to posess the gift of flight. He holds himself responsible for assuring the safety of the family, the young children like Skree especially. To this end he prefers to avoid fighting, but still must occasionally wield claw and feather in their defense. Unlike the other adults, Rava has regained some of the malleable, fluid ability of his youth, and with this trait he can turn even his soft feathers into deadly sharp weapons.
