This is my dad's "dog," Remus, during one of his rare visits indoors. He is 7/8 wolf and 1/8 husky. Pretty cool fella.
It's really easy to tell him apart from most dogs, if by nothing other than his behavior; he's smart as hell, but he doesn't take well to authority for authority's sake, and he hates being kept indoors for more than five minutes at a time. Once my dad tried to get on to him for taking a steak off the grill... and let's just say my dad let him keep it, haha.

He's pretty friendly, but you just have to keep on your toes and pay attention to what he's trying to tell you. Don't go near his food if you want to keep your fingers, haha. But he'll get right up to you and loves to get petted like most other dogs.
The only time I've ever seen anything explicitly mean of him was, like I described above, when my dad tried to get between him and his food.
He also won't eat dogfood; only meat, most of the time. Luckily my dad works at a grocery store so all the expired meat comes home to Remus.
