I love this <3

In related news, today I rescued another budgie.
This little lady was severely neglected... I found her dirty, starved, scared out of her mind.. No fresh food or water in god knows how long, and her cage was covered in filth. My heart aches for this poor little bird.

I brought her home and thoroughly cleaned her cage. I gave her fresh food and water, and a safe place to stay (away from Pierre for now). I'm keeping her quarantined for at least a month... I need to make sure she's not sick, and she needs time to adjust to her new life.
She seems terrified.. But when I was calm and slow, she eventually warmed up a tad. I'm shocked that she even ate a little millet spray from my hand.

I hope that she makes her way to a smooth recovery. I'm going to put everything I can into rehabilitating her and making her a happy bird.

(On topic of the image, Pierre loves this little toy! I found it at QuickMart and I just had to give up the $3!)
