I'm trying to get back into making music on a regular basis, so I wanted to start with something relatively simple, and this song is one that I've loved for many years since originally seeing The Sound of Music as a child. I wanted to try something a little different this time and add my own harmony in the second half of the song, since it'd be kinda boring to just hear the same exact song back-to-back with itself and no variation. I'm concerned, though, with all the mic pops I couldn't remove. I don't know if it's faulty hardware or what, but I really wish I had the know-how on cleaning this up a bit more. Still, I hope you all enjoy it.

How ever nice, the Edelweiss.
A few facts about the Edelweiss:
- It's know for being one of the few plants which have furry petals. (It's an insutlation and light filter)
- Often in history (or at least in movies) valorous men brought these to their fiancés as a proof of love. (Valorous, because they grow high up in the Alps on difficult spots where you need to climb a lot)
- It was always an important symbol in Austria and embossed on Austrian coins (and also the Austrian EURO-backside) since at least half a century.
A very beautiful cover! :3

While I'm trying to not 'bad mouth' someone else's equipment....
A $23.00 mic is a bit low.
While they're probably some excellent examples of this mic out there...
I'm also sure their quality control isn't all that great, so the possibility of getting a crappy mic is increased.
I'm not saying you need a $300.00 mic.
But for around $100.00 you can get a Shure SM-57.
It's an old design, but studios around the world are still using them.
Not to mention presidents.

Thank you. I have a windscreen for my mic, and the mic came with a package that included a USB-connected mic preamp for my computer and a pair of headphones, all Tascam. Also, while I hope to get better equipment in the future, I currently make $8.34/hr. and am over $26,000 in debt. So...yeah. Funding is a major issue.
