Gradient-shaded and full-background comish for
Onom of his gryphon, Gibbs, in a snowy forest and getting ready to leap into flight. ^^
I got to do this guy's ref sheet, so I'm quite partial to him - he's such a spiffy dude! I was really excited when Onom said about a full piece, especially since I haven't done a winter-themed background in...a while! Some good speedpaint/atmospheric practice. And Gibbs. Just Gibbs.

Awesome creature, anthro owl gryphon with leopard like spots on his body, and then to add to this a wingspan that is like equal or more to the length of the body. The winter background with the suns rays like almost overhead be more than enough reason to leap and bound into the sky, sweet.
