This is a reward for the winner of the Katbox "Love is in the Air" contest.
The winning fanfic, "In The Dark I Thought I Heard Somebody Call" by Captain Video, really wowed me. It was touching, but that's not why I liked it. Perrin's traumatized behavior and Mandy's very careful actions around him felt very real; as did Perrin's revelations and the way they both began to heal from their old wounds. It's actually not very far from how I imagined their being reunited would be, and this story gets more into the character's feelings than I ever could in comic format.
