I wanted to explain why Twi didn't just magic herself away from this plight. I've seen drawings and stories that feature inhibitor rings on her horn, but that just didn't seem primitive or goofy enough for what I was going for. I thought it would be funny to just have a cork on her horn, but didn't think that would look so good visually. A big red 'horn gag' ball seemed like the best answer.
