Expensive..... mostly 'cause the online part is free, they don't charge for it, so they charge you upfront, like Guild Wars 2, and DLC, but I haven't and won't touch the online store as there's nothing I want from it, and there won't be, I see expansion packs for the game like The Sims series in the future however....

I'm glad I got an actual disc, most problems were with Downloading the digital copy, gee I wonder if EA thought this through after the D3 problems

I'd say they didn't or folks would of been happier with the whole mess if EA had planed it a bit better after the D3 problems

Long history with me, played just about every iteration of it, even the rare SNES version, none of the mobile ones however, or the DS or Wii versions, PC only guy

i only have the sims 3 stuff though

I only tried out the base game for The Sims 3, and gave it to my Brother for Xmas last year, I didn't feel like going though the multiple expansion packs headache a third time, twice was bad enough, a third time, sorry EA, but I'm on a budget, and the cost of the expansions this time around, not gonna happen....
