This is a little teaser of my Fan-project to revamp my old favorite video game characters from the game Rocket Knight adventures which features a world inhabited by royal steak-punk knights who just happen tobe opossums. That game was such an inspiration to me as a child and I had to give something back to it!
This is a little piece of the big project I'm currently working so I decided to post some of the lineart up for now.. But I've already finished his color job and it looks sweet >:3 thing is I'm awaiting to finish coloring his Arch Nemesis Axel Gear which I shall be putting pics online when I get around to scanning the whole thing.

Wow, that is phenominal. He reminds me of something from an anime or an action-adventure comic book. I know that everyone else is saying "Bad ass" on this, but man, the complex details into the jetpacks and robot suit are so badass, as well as his demenor. He looks like he is out to whiff out someone with that sword.
thats quite a compliment man ^_^; its really funny but that's precisely what I was going for in this. I was looking to make him a bit more western with an American comic-book feel. because he was so darn cute and chibi in the old game I thought itd be cool to make him older and dirtier with a real serious suit of armor and look.

Very nice. I especially like the details on the jet pack and the armor. Obviously painstaking work!
I really liked that game, myself; it came out right when I was starting high school. :) (I can hear the music playing in my head, now...) I don't recall ever having seen characters from it drawn in such a realistic style and I think you did a truly fine job.

Yeah that game is still my favorite sega game. includeing alot of fun worlds to traverse.. epic area's and battles... and a catchy soundtrack *heh talking about it makes me want to play it* ^^; but yeah! I really spent a long time trying to give it credit and updateing them as I used to draw sparkster ALL the time when I was a kid. :3 really went for grungy darker look to it just to make it seem more western and serious.

There is a new game called "New International Track and Field" for the DS Sparkster is gonna be in it also along with other special characters such as, Pyramid head from Sillent Hill and Trevor Belmont from castlevania.
Its coming out this year to I cannot wait for this game cause sparkster is in it.

haha dude I forgot to mention that this is still just the lines you commented on >:3 I actually dropped a few weeks to color sparkster and Axel gear too!
