A few kilometers away from where I live, there is this stud farm that breeds Nordsvenska Hästar, the North-Swedish Horses. They are closely related to the Norwegian Dølahest (or dølehest).
It's one of the most common breed of draft horse where I live. Nearly all draft horses here are either NordSvensk, or of the Swedish bloodlines of the Ardennais horse, called Ardennerhäst in Swedish.
The smaller Fjordhäst, is also common to use for lighter draft purposes.

Drafties are usually pretty gentle, but there are of course individual differences in personality. But they tend to be kind towards calves. It should be fine, but there's of course always the risk that the individuals won't match.
There is a great chance that when I eventually buy a farm, that I will buy it together with a certain friend, who plans on having a horse, and I am planning on having the horse and the cattle grazing together. Usually no problem.
