Probably not. He has no qualms against eating roadkill. Though I think he would just feel sad about eating something that's still living. (Get between him and sweets and he might not care though.)

I can't picture him eating anything living :/ I mean, he's your character. I guess maybe the whatever is in him...

He's a scavenger. Rotting flesh appeals to him (or more specifically, his parasites). Something that's still living, not so much. He wouldn't want to kill and eat something of his own accord (And he's certainly not built to be a hunter) but get between him and cookies when he enthusiastically wants cookies and you're asking for your hand to be chewed on. He can be rather lacking in impulse control.
