This right here is pure poetry for me, Tsai! I can't stress enough how well you applied the various shades of blue here, from the lightest portion of the sky to the wonderfully aesthetic silhouettes that serve as the tree's leaves and branches--which is perhaps my favorite aspect of this picture.
The character himself is finely illuminated by the moonlight and receives even more attention against the dark-blue net of foliage above him. You did a fantastic job with his attire (though I'm probably partial to that style of dress lol), issuing crinkles wherever they seem necessary according to his body posture. But your shading for this piece is phenomenal, maybe the best I've seen from you yet, considering how much light you had to work with this time.
Finally, I was happy to discover that this picture is a bit interactive too, for I did not initially notice that there was a firefly on the nose of the gentleman's cane; and the fact that the cane has an actual nose makes it even more entertaining! That subtle detail...having the viewer wonder where the subject's gaze is going and actually finding the answer within the picture is magic for me, man. (Depends on the picture though, I guess, but this one qualifies!) =D
Superb stuff, Tsai! Keep it up! :)
