I really adore new!Lola. She's just so insanely wacky and feels like a real looney tunes character, rather than a stereotypical t&a walking girl power merchandise...thing.
That said I do still adore her original design, just prefer this version personality wise.

It's not sexist, but the 'dumb blonde' thing is definitely cliche. The thing that bugged me about Space Jam!Lola was that aside from being a good basketball player (who triggered at the word 'doll'), she didn't have anything else. She existed solely to hook up with Bugs and sell products to little girls. 'Course, you can say that about any other girl character half the time, but with her it was super blatant. Also, her super smooth personality didn't fit in with the other Looney Tunes. Could you see her in an old school short?
New Lola has some problems, def, (lol dumb blond orz), but she's WACKY, takes iniative, tricked Bugs into dating her, has her own friends, and is actually, well, funny '-'a I do agree making her suck at sports was really unneccessary. It could have been some awesome comedy having this crazy airheaded girl completely own the boys in every sport.
THAT SAID, not hating on the movie, Space Jam is a great guilty pleasure. I just get really bothered by characters that are blatantly presented as 'girl object', and that's what old Lola seemed like .-.
to each their own tho, sorry for the rambling. /TOO MANY FEELINGS ON FICTIONAL CHARACTERS

Most of my thoughts are in that tl;dr comment up there, but there isn't anything wrong with disliking new lola and preferring the old. We wouldn't have wacky new Lola if it wasn't for the original, after all *-*
I think I would still love Space Jam Lola more if they actually had done something with her beyond making her a girl power stereotype--and despite being one, she still existed solely to be the 'girlfriend' and to be saved by Bugs. It's like--what!! THIS IS A TOUGH AS NAILS B-BALL GIRL she should have done the saving >8(!! (At the time tho, it was still pretty great, because I remember tomboy girl characters being fairly scarce). The next time we'd ever see Lola was in Baby Looney Tunes cartoon, which was a cute, but overall weak use of the characters, and Lola was kind of a bland character there :( BLAH BLAH basically what I like about the new Lola is that she is far more present and active, and while she's still Bugs' girlfriend, SHE'S the one that nabbed him (through blackmail and craziness), and despite being a ditz, she never actually needs his help.
.........i should be going to work but am talking about lola bunny at 7am. GJ ME!! tldr again, both Lolas are amazing and there needs to be more art of them 8V!!
