Continuing with the zubat evo series i started a while back...

I attempted to a slightly more realistic version of golbat, basing it (rather loosely) off of a big brown bat (Eptesicus fuscus).

I'm not really a fan of golbat. I always thought it looks like it has lockjaw or something. Golbat still has a big ol' mouth here, but maybe looks like a mouth that might actually be able to close from time to time. :-P

Done in colored pencil and watercolor. I'm glad I attempted a background, but I'm not entirely sure I'm happy with the result. I've never been a fan of using watercolor, but if I keep trying, eventually I'll get better with it!
