So there's this old bow/keel/something-ship-related that's been sitting on the coast of Yard 6 for a long time. It's a simple, boring thing, I guess, but it's endearing to me as a subject to take pictures of. I like this one, so I'm uploading it. Huzzuh.
And just opposite this lovely thing is the abandoned motivation to have ever discovered it in the first place: http://www.flickr.com/photos/studio.....57630951547096
Neat stuff.

Seeing this inspired me. There are many shores which are in need of...well...shoring up, against natural disasters; and alot of old junk that is just sitting around in all manner of places. So why can't people take all that junk and convert them into ways to prevent damage to the land?
Some shores in my area are like their own Trash Coasts. Garbage will come in with the swells until there's a length a couple yards long of trash and junk and debris. Would only need a long shovel to pull it inland, maybe concrete it all down to cement an otherwise eroding shoreline. Granted, another couple yards of garbage would come. Meh...
