It is a part of Yik's background that he loves to sneak into fairs and festivals and other happenings that have a lot of food to steal, but what if someone took him to the Fair legitimately and he got to actually enjoy himself? This would happen:
-He'd hit every food vendor at least 15 times or more (He's ready for his 12th trip)
-He'd want to go to the petting zoo and have a pony ride (Poor pony, I hope it's back doesn't break due to all of the weight)
-A ride on the Ferris Wheel
-A trip to the Knife-selling tent
-And grab some more cotton candy for the trip home.
Oh well, at least he has a balloon to keep him company.
And a side note, I love how this turned out. Especially his undone belt, that is a nice touch.

Funny you should say that, I was going to draw a small follow up panel with Ori handing off Yik to Tankaa with a "You take him, he's yours now" kinda look, like an aggravated divorced parent handing their kid to their Ex. But I decided not to, it would have detracted from Yik's childlike excitement, and would have made me think of too many bad memories.
Yik will hopefully shut up if you win him a stuffed animal at one of the rigged games.
