A Last Kiss
Part two
(Warning, vore.)
Jake stood in the back of a store, not really doing his job of taking stock. It has been nine months since he had lost his love and friend; Jade. He still mourned every night, never able to find sleep because he was too sad and it always brought nightmares about Jade’s death.
As a result of getting no sleep, he had been doing horrible at his job. Later that day, when he was almost off for the day, his boss came and fired him. After doing stuff like grabbing what little things he had there; he started to trudge home, sobbing softly to himself.
When Jake was halfway to his home, he heard screams of terror. He glanced up to see people pointing at the sky and running. Before he could even turn to look at what they were pointing at; large paws swooped down and flew off with him, leaving terrified onlookers behind.
Fear quickly replaced Jake’s sorrow. He struggled in the paws’ tight grip. But then he looked and saw how high they were getting. He quickly changed from struggling to get free to clutching to the paw, hoping he wouldn’t be dropped. He stayed holding himself close to the paws as what had him started descending towards a cave in the mountains; Jade’s cave.
Jake looked at where he was being taken, getting confused and scared. The being flew into the cave, dropping Jake harshly on the ground. It then landed further in the cave. He finally got a good look at it. It was a dragon, like Jade had been. But this one was growling and breathing smoke from it’s nostrils. He looked up at the black and purple scaled dragon, backing away from it. Jade had never shown aggression, so he had never thought a dragon to be dangerous.
But this dragon was clearly dangerous, and it seemed to have bad intentions. Jake shook as he backed away. “Wh-what do you w-want?…” He asked. “I k-know you can speak…”
The dragon hissed and jumped at him, pinning him to the floor of the cave. “What did you do to Jade?!” The dragon hissed in a clearly angry tone. It sounded to be a male, and was bigger than Jade was, like she said all males would be.
Jake had a mix of emotions, he was sad, angry, and most of all, terrified. He looked up into the dragon’s purple eyes and sobbed. “I-I-I d-did n-n-nothing…”
“Then what happened to my sister?!” He roared, a small jet of flame passing over Jake.
“I-I don’t…” He started, crying. “S-she fell from the sky…” He said, unable to finish, his crying overpowering his will to speak.
“Where?!” He roared, pounding his paw on the ground close to Jake’s head. The human just cried, curling up into a ball once the dragon let him go. Jade’s brother growled and laid down at the entrance of the cave, waiting until the human would speak.
After a while; about half an hour to be exact. Jake was just laying on the cave floor, like he had many times before in that very cave. But he was sad and scared this time. He looked over at the black dragon who was now snoring a bit. He sat up, staring at the terrifying dragon. He then stood up and cautiously approached Jade’s brother. He put his hand on the black dragon’s snout when he was close enough. “Uh… Hello?” He asked, trying to get him awake, but was too scared to actually try. But unfortunately for him, he didn’t have to try.
Jade’s brother opened his eyes when something had touched his nose. He was a bit shocked to see it was the human, but he didn’t express it. Instead, he showed annoyance. “Huh?” He asked, causing Jake to jump back a bit. He stood up and sat on his haunches, looking down at Jake.
Jake looked up, growing nervous. “Umm… I-I can show you where…” He said, pulling out his cell phone and bringing up a map of the area Jade had found her resting place. “It’s right here.” He said, placing a marker in the correct area. Then he turned the phone around and showed it to the dragon.
The big dragon looked at the tiny phone and nodded. “Thank you Jake.” He said, snaking his tail over to Jake and grabbing him with it. Jake tried to protest, but stopped when he was set upon the dragon’s back.
“Uh, are you taking me home?” The human asked. Jade’s brother shook his head and jumped out of the cave, flying in the direction that Jake showed him. “Oh…” Jake said sadly, not wanting to go back to the horrible place that he had lost Jade at.
The dragon looked back at Jake. “My name’s Reptil, by the way. I was Jade’s only sibling.” He said, continuing to fly.
“Oh…” Jake said, looking down. “I’m…” He started to say, but was cut off by Reptil.
“I already know, Jake. Jade see’s me everyday she’s not with you. She told me all about you.” He said.
“So you know about…” He started, but was again stopped by Reptil.
“Her eating you? Yes, I know all about that as well.” He said, chuckling a bit. “She tells me everything, Jake.”
“Oh… Okay then… So you know about me, does that mean I get to know about you?” Jake asked.
Reptil nodded. “I suppose so. So first, I have a mate, and soon will have hatchlings. And I am normally nice, I was just going crazy because Jade hadn’t visited me in awhile and I was scared as to what happened.”
Jake nodded. “Okay, I guess that’s understandable.” He said, looking down again. After that, they both went silent, Reptil just flying towards the area that Jake had shown him.
After a while, Reptil started to fly down. He landed in the same area that the sniper had been, and the same area Jade crashed in. He laid down after he landed, letting Jake slide off, which he did. Jake looked around, recognizing the area. “This is the place.” He sighed sadly.
“Hmm…” Reptil sniffed the air. “Something’s off here…” He said, looking around. Then he spotted the sniper case. “Hey, what’s that?” He asked, walking over to it.
Jake followed, picking it up. “I’m not sure…” He said, looking over it. Then he opened it and froze. He saw a cushioned inside, but the three slots in it were in the shape of a large rifle. “No… No!… Who would have done this?…” He asked, putting the pieces together, figuring out that Jade must have been shot.
“Done what?” Reptil asked, looking at the case.
“Th-this is a case for a gun… I-I think Jade was shot…” He said sadly.
“Oh… But I’ve been shot at… My scales protected me… Why didn’t it protect her?” The dragon asked.”
“I don’t know…” He said, looking over at the tree that Jade had died at. There was no body or even skeleton. Just a pile of leaves that remind every being that it was autumn. Though this pile of leaves let off a glow. Jake didn’t notice at first. But then he looked back and saw the glow. “Hey, what’s that?” He asked, pointing to the tree.
Reptil looked over, seeing the glow. “Hmm… I’m not sure…” He said, walking over to it, Jake cautiously following behind him. He walked up to the base of the tree and swiped away the leaves. Then he gasped, looking down at what was under the leaves.
In front of Reptil lay an egg. He looked at it in awe. Then he noticed that it had dragon markings on it. “The immorally slain shall be regained.” He said.
“What?” Jake asked, looking up at the dragon.
“The egg… That’s what it says on it. The immorally slain shall be regained.” Reptil repeated.
Jake looked at the egg. “What does that mean?” He asked.
The dragon looked at the egg. “I don’t know… But it’s a dragon egg… That I’m positive of.”
“A dragon’s egg?” Jake asked. “What do we do with it?”
“It’s not in a nest, so it was abandoned… So it’s simple. We get it to a nest, my mate’s nest to be exact.” Reptil said, gently picking up the egg. “You’re going to watch over it while we fly.” He said, bringing it up to his muzzle. Then he put the egg on his tongue and gulped it down. “Okay, your turn Jake.” He said, looking over at the once again nervous human.
“Umm… You won’t hurt me, will you?” He asked.
The dragon shook his head. “No, it’ll be no different than Jade’s stomach.” He reassured.
“Okay…” He said, walking up to Reptil. The dragon picked him up and opened his maw wide, setting Jake on his tongue. He licked the human and then swallowed, pushing Jake down his throat, squeezing him down into his belly. Jake saw the egg and laid back against a stomach wall. “So what do you want me to do?” He asked.
“Just tell me if it starts to hatch, I don’t want indigestible eggshell in my stomach.” Reptil said, jumping into the air, flying back to his cave. Jake nodded, just watching the egg for the hour or so it took to get back to Reptil’s cave.
Soon enough, Jake felt the stomach shake around him as Reptil landed. He smiled a bit and rubbed the wall. “Can I come out now?” He asked. He got his reply in the form of the stomach contracting around him and the egg. Then first the egg got pulled back up the dragon’s throat, softly getting set down in the nest next to Reptil’s mate’s eggs. Then Jake got pulled back into the throat, be pulled upwards by the massaging walls. Then he was deposited next to the other egg. He looked around, then up to see a white under belly descend upon him and the eggs, a giggle resounding afterwards.
Jake sighed and chuckled a bit. “Are you Reptil’s mate?” He asked, just sitting with the eggs while the all white dragoness laid over her nest.
“I am.” Came a feminine voice above Jake. “And you’re Jake, my new hatchling.” She giggled.
“Oh, I am?” He asked jokingly, reaching up and giving her belly a rub.
She purred. “Mmmhmm… Yep, you’ll be the newest one in our family.” She giggled, standing up and sitting by the nest.
Jake chuckled. “I bet I’d like that. But then I won’t be eaten anymore, and that I wouldn’t like.” He said, getting up and climbing out of the nest.
Both Reptil and his mate laughed. “Jake, this is my mate Luna.” Reptil said.
“It’s nice to meet you, Luna.” He said, smiling up at her.
“Same to you.” Luna said. “I’ve heard much about you and would love to eat you sometime.” She said, smiling down at him.
“Okay, I won’t mind, as long as you won’t do anything harmful.” Jake said, looking up at her.
“Don’t worry, I won’t.” Luna promised.
Jake smiled, nodding. Then he looked at the egg. “So… What about that?” He asked.
Reptil looked at the egg. “I’ll come get you when it hatches, okay?” He said, laying down so Jake could climb up onto his back.
“Alright.” Jake said, going up and climbing onto the black dragon’s back. Reptil stood up and walked towards the cave’s exit.
“I’ll be back in a bit.” Reptil said to his mate. Then he got ready to jump out of the cave. But he froze as a crack came from the nest.
