I wanted to do more fantasy, and did a little research on unicorns and kirin/qilin, and saw that the old Chinese myths had several variations, obviously in hindsight confusion between rhinoceros, giraffe, etc, but. one was "head of lion, body of deer" so I tested it out, and I kind of like it.
I tried doing a dragon/ox but it just looks clumsy, I'm terrible at getting sketches to flow right.
