It has been a while since I did photo shoots with my own fursuits.
This one is with North.
He just realized that his date is not going to show up. I guess he can use some entertainment... Anyone?
Many thanks to my sweet mate tigertom for helping me with this shoot <3
New picture with the Colonel is coming soon!

The background is done with a Photoshop HDR merge using 4 RAW images.
Combining the background with the studio shoot was the most challenging part actually. There is the floor, the lamp post, the facade, North, and the stray dog.
It took me 5 hours, 46 Photoshop layers and 1,5 bottles of wine :)

Nice! I don't believe my older version of Photoshop has that feature, though I have yet to really experiment with HDR photography my self. You did a great job keeping the dynamics of the lighting the same between the different parts of the image. I had assumed the lamp post was at the building location... Your wine consumption however is lacking, please try harder next time.
hey north (or ezwolf), which ever u prefer :)
im gonna be in the same vehicle as you, khord kitty, black foot, claw furry, and my two handlers!
im trying to figure out the easiest way to make the car pooling work cus black foot's motor coach is huge and will get stuck if he goes into NYC to pick u both up!
And the traffic is probably gonna be bleh!
I know, i lived in the city for a few months.
I had suggested to khord, that maybe u both could meet in fort lee, and being just over the bridge would make all our lives easier!
Txt me anytime at 917- 570- 6178 or add me on f.a.- generalfolfie1, or skype- fun86drunkie75.

In brief...
What started with a simple handshake in greeting in the amber lamplight quickly a hug. Quick, sincere, but lacking the depth of something more than a friendly hello. In that moment, I noticed that the glow from above gave an almost honey color to his fur.
We walked slowly from one puddle of light to another. The restaurant we'd agreed on was only a few kilometers away. A good stretch of the legs to work up an appetite. We talked of all the usual things one talks about on a first date. Where we were from, what we do, things we enjoy. All the things that, when it comes down to it, really don't mean much. They're fine for friendship, but they wither and pale in the light of something deeper and more meaningful.
As we talked and ate, I found myself staring at his lips more and more. I watched the supple, black lines slide across ivory and pink as spoke and smiled. I was almost afraid to look into those eyes, as crisp and deep as a cerulean arctic sky. It would be so easy to willfully lose myself in that gaze.
Then I realized that he'd asked me something. Twice.
I blinked several times, blushing fiercely beneath my fur when I realized I'd been staring at him long enough for the piece of meat on my fork to go cold.
Yeah....this was a good date.

Greeting's:: I put a fav on this last March and have looked at it several times since. You did a beautiful job here. And as others have said, it looks like the real thing. At first look... I looked at this again now, and I've noticed something I hadn't befor. There are no shadows from the light on the lamp post. To bad I can't fav this twice, or three, or four times!!!
I love your compositions, the lighting, posing and all gives it a natural feel to the scene being depicted. I am curios for any who wish to answer what do you guys do to keep from over heating in those suits? Under Armour? I have never gone to that level of costuming, mostly I used make up and prosthetics. I have however done something called Heavy list in a historical reenactment group, in mid summer and I have seen how quickly a person can sucome to heat related illnesses. I volunteer as emergency medical staff for events so forgive my medical inquiry.
Thanks for your compliments!
There is a very effective solution to deal with overheating: http://ezcooldown.com
Hundreds of fursuiters and costumers are using it :)
