As long as i give you credit may i do a traditional re-draw and re-post of the poem and similar artwork? i want to keep the poem in my journal of favorite poems :3?

-Credit me for both the poem and concept

first off, if you would have said no, i wouldn't haven't even bothered to copy the poem or do the artwork, i am actually a respectful artist that way :/

1 i don't believe in tracing, as you can see from my own profile page i do my own artwork :/

2 i already said i was going to give you credit for the poem, but i actually had a similar concept in mind long before i saw you post this..

if you would say 'no, uh, you haven''t, i could show you a excerpt of one of the pages of my book to prove and do so :3 (and you would have to keep that part a secret of course of what hapens in that scene ^^) since because i have been working on the 3rd book of my series of 5 books so far, and well, someone gets dumped in with the fishies lets put it that way, and this poem exactly (well almost) fits the scene I've been stuck on :/

but i will forget to post the link and link it back. I would ask for a watch so you could at least see when i do post my artwork or anything else, you could see it and be like HEY REMEMBER MEE?!?!? and i would be like ohhh yeaa :D hai, oh yea CREDIT TO THIS PERSON TOOO BTW LIKE HIS PAGE AND STUFF and derp around and things.

I haven't been on FA in a long time, and when i was scrolling through my favorite artists, i saw this, got curios caused it resembled the same scene (yet it is a bit more, horrific) and i do not intend posting anything on my book, til it is completed; or at least if one book if finished i will post that and then post the other books as i come to conclude them. so trust me when i say i would forget with the posting of the link and posting the link on the page it has to do with.

Don't get defensive, I've just been burned before and people haven't asked, so I wanted to make things clear. I see that you don't trace; I wasn't intentionally accusing you of doing so.

I don't mind you using the concept in your book, after all, it's your work and you came up with it independently. I guess I'd rather you alter the poem significantly if you're going to be publishing it, though.

The poem actually has to be altered now that i think of it, and looking at it. and you are not the only one that has been burned to you know? i wasn't trying to get offensive i just sound a lot harsher than i mean to over the internet.

i was just trying to point out that i already said i was going to give you credit earlier, but i did only get offended when it sounded like Ihad to "abide by rules of posting"obviously i could have just gone the more annoying and disrespectful route of doing a similar piece without having the audacity to ask you or let alone credit you for the matter. :/ , believe me, that's why i politely asked if i could use a similar piece to yours. I did not appreciate how it sounded as if i was a tracer-type artist trying to be recognized for a piece i didn't do. but then again it was a misunderstanding and I'm sorry again if i sounded harsh.


i am sure you have had worse experience then i have but believe me when i say i know how you feel :/ it really does hurt to get burned. in middle school i made a piece of a winged man and demonic fallen angel type of woman, somehow i "lost" (i knew it was stolen) the piece and no one claimed to have it, around the school, when the art competition came around, instead of submitting my old piece that i no longer had, i made a new better piece, and everything else everyone else submitted was an altered copied version of my piece. i was furious and had no proof (since my original was stolen) to say that all related entries were wrongfully made etc etc etc, the teachers did notice however that most of the pieces were similar and disqualified based on UN-originality, so i was merely happy at that. on an epic scale i was burned and backhanded by most of my now ex friends that submitted the similar piece.


to touch on the last note, I am not a popular artist, so i don't think ill ever be popular enough to have it published, i just plan on doing a FA book submission type of style, and hopefully get some viewers and commissions in that way :p hopefully
some fans may want some art commissions after seeing what i can do.

anyways, i can still give you credit since it is your work of course, or an honorable mention if i completely altar it anways, so atleast you get some recongnition. (to the poem) if you prefer or wish?

also, like i said, it wasn't exact so i would actually alter the poem just a bit for it to fit exactly but the general conept of the poem fits it well. :p
