I was inspired to create this guy after a discussion with  bose and some other friends, wherein we talked about the value of simple character design and how one friend's (Manji's) simple character got drawn a lot because she was so simple.

Well, here you go - a simple, easy-to-draw character called Crabcat. He's a cat-crab hybrid, and as you can see, he's very, very grumpy. Don't let that fool you though - if you look closely at the chart of crabcat makeup, you can see that there is a tiny wedge of love in there (daw)...right next to the one marked "your sammiches". I figure Crabcat is one of those guys who always grumbles and mumbles, but is helpful and nice deep down, and if not irritated too much.

I might give Crabcat a power like telekinesis, or maybe "into bees". Not sure yet. One thing I AM sure of is that you must never ever touch his fuzzy grey belly...ever. :O
