A rough sketch of a werewolf skull. The idea behind it is that instead of being a hybrid of wolf and human, it's what a human would look like if they were de-evolved back to an ancestral form and re-evolved as a predator instead of a tool-user. The skull's a blend of features from Autralopithecus afarensis, gorilla, giant hyena and cave bear.

C'est vrai. The thinking behind this was that they'd started out as exclusive scaengers, and developed a very strong, hyena-style bite, and only developed into predators recently. I tried to mash together aspects from hyenas, short-faced bears and paranthropus/robust autralopithecus. Ah well - I'm still learning.
