I had heard rumors that I wasn't the only one affected that day, but I was too shocked to find out what happened to them, or the prankster that did this to me in the first place.

It took a while before my feet finally started to shrink down; thankfully, they had grown as big as they intended to. Even when I could finally walk, my feet were still far larger than they should be, and quite sore to boot. The foot soak I gave myself when I managed to squeeze them past my front door was indescribable, if nothing else.

Little did I know at the time that whatever happened to me would not be a first time incident. I'm not sure if it was a genetic mutation, some kind of curse, or just bad luck, but my feet had been forever altered, programmed to grow beyond my control, and usually in the worst of situations.

Of course, at that time, I didn't know that. After a trip to the shoe store and the pub immediately afterward, things slowly returned to normal. Little did I know this wouldn't be the first time my feet started to grow, whether I wanted them to or not...

So, that's my tale, I suppose. I haven't had a major incident in a few weeks, so I'm glad for that....although my shoes have felt tight for a while.
